Subject description: Skirmish Map, my first worthy submission		 Reply with quote  Mark this post and the followings unread
Hey guys, Im about to go on a brief vacation, and I figured I would make this just before I headed out. I wish I could make a big screen cap of the entire map... but I dont know how to do that, so the minimap will have to suffice.

It played pretty well, but I want y'alls opinion!

Minimap looks kinda bland. Needs more LAT variation.

Judging just by coloration on the minimap, I can tell the map isn't all that varied. You need more LAT (tile) variation (sand, dirty grass, etc).

Aha, thank you for letting me know what that means. Ill get started on Mk. II right away!

Any other suggestions would be appreciated...

I think I might add a bit more Ore, as well as a fence for the North-East grouping of bovine...

Oh, hey, I fixed some of the stuff you mentioned. I know this isn't exactly my forte, but I try!

I would love to know how to create a massive .jpg of this thing, yet I haven't a clue as to how without taking damn near hundreds of screenies and splicing them together.

if you notice any abnormalities in infantry, its due to laziness on my part to run this program on a computer that doesn't have my tweaks in RA2

Alright, now that Im back on a reliable connection, I can finally do this right... sorta.

Both photobucket & flickr refuse to let me have this image at my slightly smaller than full size (which is massive). And I don't have my own space like Aro.

The player in the middle is at a bit of a disadvantage, wouldn't that starting point be better in the bottom left corner?

The shorelines are a bit blocky as well, smoothing them out will make it look a whole lot better. Other then that it's all good tho #Tongue
