Are the game assets extractable "vehicles and planes" or are they compiled as well? Curious because my next project is going to be an RA3 Mod. I most likely will make all my own stuff, but maybe use some existing stuff, just change them a little.

All assets are compiled, but there are some sample art files.

yea I,ve seen the sample art in the ModSDK, but thats cool I'll just make all my own stuff. Now all I have to do is find a working Max2W3d plugin for Max2010 and I'm good to go.

I know that, but according to the ModSDK it still uses the Max2w3d export plugin. So there must be a tool that converts them. Maybe the BinaryAssetBuilder? I dont know..

EA just got lazy and didn't rename the plug in, it still exports as w3x.

Ahhhhhhhh, I see, I see. Well I guess I'll still have to wait around for someone to make this available for Max 2010, if not then I most likely will not do this project. Maybe they used Max 2010 for C&C4, so if an SDK becomes available, hopefully they'll have the required plugin I need Very Happy
