Unity?
Hello,
Anyone used Unity before? I had a chance as a IGDA game jam participant, a somewhat local event with indie game devs simply making a game prototype in less than 72 hours.
I am overall surprised how overall cooperative it was, especially with importing models with animation. Simply place them in the project's assets folder and boom. its there! while it does bug out if something isn't just right. and some setup involved.
anyways just wondering if any ya ppm'ers have experience with it. _________________ Delirium.. Last edited by Ickus on Thu Jul 22, 2010 1:13 am; edited 1 time in total QUICK_EDIT
UNITY!!! I love Unity. It is right next to UDK in my view of video game level design and game making. I have made several games with it all failed when Unity decided to lose all my data. I assume you downloaded some tutorials. If you did, I would suggest doing the FPS game tutorial. Last edited by hotrods20 on Wed Apr 22, 2020 8:04 am; edited 1 time in total QUICK_EDIT
Last I checked, you can't add maps to your game, or make them for that matter. _________________ Please, I DON'T read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT
What do you mean. I have added like 20 maps to my game before. Unity is great because all its features. ALl you have to do is set up a script that you place so when your player goes into it that level ends and a new one loads. QUICK_EDIT
