STEAM users interested in this game should fire their client up and get in line for the download, as this game has been released! Anyone else here going to be playing? I'll definitely be down for a game or two. QUICK_EDIT
GAHHHHHHH, I screamed when I saw that they extended the timer by 2 hours more, I was waiting at the store page for hours. Im getting shitty speeds now thanks to them not allowing us to preload >_> _________________ Please, I DON'T read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT

Fun game. Careful planing, teamwork and trash-talk heavily encouraged.
Sure, there is only one campaign. But it is rather replayable and since the SDK is out, anyone can try their hand at level design (made simpler by tile system).
A large number of weapons and equipment too. Not too many, but sadly, it feels like you haven't tried everything, simply because you'd prefer to sticking to a certain class.
Aliens are generic bugs, though. Early playthroughs will also be a bit difficult, especially since death of a technician or a medic can spell doom on higher-difficulties or to lower-skill players.
Still, nothing is more awesome than to get through an entire level, while most of your team is dead and gives you tips on how to survive.
PLAY IT, DAMN IT. _________________ DUNK! QUICK_EDIT
AS is awesome. I am still getting the hang of the SDK for mapping, but seems some issues on Valve end is holding me up on that part. TileGen is pretty neat feature.
Gameplay is neat, its fun yet challenging, definitely need a good group to get through, just not fond of playing as the tech. >.< _________________ Delirium.. QUICK_EDIT

A friend of mine texted me today saying "dude, you wanna play AS with me and my buddy?"
And I was very disappointed that I couldn't play with them for three reasons:
1: It looked oh-so-awesome.
2: I happen to be on vacation in another state without my good gaming computer (All I can play on this machine is RA2)
3: If I did have a worthy computer, I would still be SOL because I'm on a piece of junk DSL connection in the boonies.
I can't wait to give it a shot, because it looks so awesome. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

Well, I am not gonna lie. I went to making tileset directly, so I am not as well versed in working with a normal map. _________________ DUNK! QUICK_EDIT
