I am very new at modding generals, Ihave read tuts and am now trying to get a simple model ingame, just to see if I can.
I have set up my folders how I should, but the model doesn't show up

also, every time I place factionunit.ini in the Object folder, generals wont even start up.

I'm was going through the older topics looking for help but couldnt find an answer.

I know this should be an easy fix, but I can't seem to fiqure it out

Also, I installed Generals from TFD disk

Thanks for the help

The folder set up for graphics is
Art (wich shuld be created in your game directory)
the inside art you need a folder called "Textures" and one called "W3D"

it is possible there is a mistake in your code if you have added any
(just a tip, your ini can be named any thing so if you create a "NewUnits.INI" file and put all the new units codding in there it will work inperfectly game and saves you editing excisting ini files (unless you need to of course; i dont know if it works like the ini out side of Object yet)

if you are putting ZH code in vanilla generals, thigns could get messy. Also try useing World Builder as a bug finder because it will tell you exactly whats wrong. If nothing shows up in World Builder and the game still crashes, than the problem is 99% likely to be with CommandButton.ini or CommandSet.ini.

Generals' Worldbuilder doesn't debug, only Zero Hour's. You will need to check ReleaseCrashInfo.txt for that.
