Concerning the new Disturbed album, Asylum
Subject description: Umm, ztyping odd.
Alright, so I got it today and I popped it into my Xbox to listen to as I did some work on my laptop (more convenient at the moment, long story). Anyway, there should only be 12 songs on the album, from Remnants to Innocence. But then I realized, there's a THIRTEENTH song not listed. It doesn't have a name (the title is [Untitled][*]).
The first minute of this untitled song is just silent. Utter silence. Then after two minutes, music actually starts playing. I've never head it before, so I don't know anything about it...
Could someone else who has the album explain this to me? _________________ Okay, my signature was starting to annoy even me. QUICK_EDIT
Well, I have to say, I'm disappointed. It's better than I thought it would be after hearing the Asylum track, but it's still no-where near as good as Ten Thousand Fists or even Indestructible for that matter. I'd personally rate it a 5/10. The only tracks I like from the new album are:
Asylum
The Infection
Never Again
Another Way To Die
Leave It Alone
Living After Midnight (Cover)
Down With The Sickness [Live]
Stricken [Live]
The rest are OK, but all over the place. No real song structure to them and they sound similar to some of their previous tracks. The only reason I like the Down With The Sickness and Stricken Live versions is because they were cut out of the Ten Thousand Fists Bonus DVD which I already own.
Overall, It's worth buying, but don't get your hopes up.
Asylum (Deluxe Edition) Full Track List:
1. Remnants
2. Asylum
3. The Infection
4. Warrior
5. Another Way to Die
6. Never Again
7. The Animal
8. Crucified
9. Serpentine
10. My Child
11. Sacrifice
12. Innocence
13. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For (U2 Cover)
14. Leave It Alone
15. Down with the Sickness (Live)
16. Stricken (Live)
17. Living After Midnight (Judas Priest Cover)
Since I have every Disturbed song in existence on my computer, I can't bring myself to dislike any track they make, so I'd say give it a month and I'll grow to like the rest of the tracks.
I have the Deluxe edition so I get the additional bonus tracks. From what I see, you've just gotten hold of a fake, a waste of time. Don't download the album, buy it. Disturbed need to be supported. QUICK_EDIT

No, I bought the CD from the PX (a military store), so no worries.
And thanks Furry!
Also, I missed your thread then Aro. My apologies.
I've learned never to buy music from the PX. They never have the good editions, and usually they're censored. _________________ "Reality is a lovely place, but I wouldn't want to live there." -Adam Young QUICK_EDIT
