Every one should encounter problem that original railgun has slow lag when railgun particle disappear. So I change it to SHP railgun instead to avoild this lag.

But when I change I get another another lack. Game is freeze lag of 0.3-0.5 when railgun particle is disappear.

This is my code.

Code:
[LargeRailgunSys]
HoldsWhat=LargeRailgunPart
BehavesLike=Railgun
SpiralRadius=15
ParticlesPerCoord=.15
SpiralDeltaPerCoord=.03
MovementPerturbationCoefficient=0;.4
PositionPerturbationCoefficient=0;30
VelocityPerturbationCoefficient=0;.6
Laser=yes
LaserColor=25,20,255

[LargeRailgunPart]
BehavesLike=Railgun
BehavesLike=Smoke
MaxEC=20
Image=RAILPART
Translucency=0
Velocity=1
Deacc=.05
WindEffect=0
DeleteOnStateLimit=yes
EndStateAI=20
StateAIAdvance=1

The reason why a SHP railgun doesn't lags is, because the bigger particle image (instead of a tiny single pixel) allows to reduce the ParticlesPerCoord without causing any big holes in the railgun.

If you don't reduce ParticlesPerCoord, you also won't have any lag reduction.

Plus you are using SpiralRadius and delta curving which add up some lag instead of direct shp draw. if set them zero you get straight beam like and lesser lag. EndStateAI and MaxEC would be ideal to set at the amount of frames in shp i find.
