I'm trying to add the fake buildings feature from RA1.
I can get most of its functions working, except one: a "Fake" indicator.
In RA1, when a fake building was selected, it would be labeled as "FAKE" in order to prevent confusion with a real one.

Is there anyway I can implement this?

No. Fake=yes doesn't work anymore.

Coincidentally I was working on similar problem in Tiberian Sun. Not sure if these keys work in Red Alert 2 anymore, but try adding them to your fake building:

PipScale=Ammo
Ammo=5 ; Well, this can be anything from 1-5.

When selected the fake building will display small bullets at the bottom, which you can use to tell the difference. If it doesn't seem to work try giving the fake building a fake weapon, since the Ammo= key might only work if the building has a weapon.

I thought Ammo= only works if the techno type has a weapon, but I was wrong.

It's a very nice workaround. Thanks SuperJoe
