I've seen many mods trying to simulate the weacontroller,but they only shot a few lightnings without clouds(I have a SHP which includes the cloud and the lightning).Also,the seperation is not enough.I'm trying to make one.Idea already have but not tried.Discuss is welcomed.

Clouds is a very easy effect.

Most people don't area affect weather storm because it has horrible balance in terms of damage control.

Lao Tze made a area effect lightning storm tank though for his mod (check version 25) - the rules are easy to decipher for it.

certainly not that simple.
The simulation of SW effect.I cannot make lighting effects,but others can be like the SW.

Also when I and Apollo meant lag we do not mean controlling animation speed i.e. Rate=

We actually mean performance lag, regardless of your system performance

SHP debris and translucency all cause "performance lag".

just download the code pack and change it yourself.You know what to do.In early vision,it does have some lag.But later I fixed it.

First of all this animation is trying and failing considering the jumping of frames. If you tried harder, I'm sure you could make it look smoother.

Second, there's a reason the amount of clouds and particle effects are low in vanilla, because as everyone is trying to say, having many effects at one time causes slow down of the entire game.

Third, who can't make a cloud 3 cells higher?
