OK, i need mappers, voxel makers, shp artists, AI coders, INI coders, and all the likes. just reply here or in my forum in teh mod projects section. if you can be exclusive, or just some things be exclusive to O:WD, that would be great. but they dont have to be. so ask if your help is needed, whatever youdo, you are most likely needed badly. im gonna really have to add this next sentence to my siggy... you will, of course, be credited.

ok, perhaps i need to be more specific. either look in our forum to see details, or look at the rest of this post.

we need...
infantry SHps
1. stealth rocket soldier
2. light machine gunner (allies with and m16 and soviet w/ an AK47
3. heavy machine gunner (allies with a SAW machine gun and soviets with a soviet brand heavy machine gun (or just use recolored SAW)
4. Medic for allies and soviets (just a recolor for each team is aok, as long as they are able to tell the difference)
5. soviet and yuri spy (boris with no gun would be ok for soviets)
i can get pics of the guns if needed
VXL maker
1. M2 tank (again, i can get a pic for ya) in allied colors
2. t80 tank
3. t62 tank
4. korean IFV (yes, they are real)
5. soviet heavy bomber (i can get a pic of what it should look like)
as with the infantry, if u dont know what anything looks like, ill post a pic or two.
screen artist
1. skirmish and online Load screens
2. singleplayer briefing screens
3. menu elements (eg buttons, top-right corner animation, ect.)
4. pause menus
these should be very different from the originals, because i am aiming for a semi-TC (still using many smae graphics and units and countries)
mapper
1. someone who can get a map with my mod units in it to work
2. skirmish and MP maps
3. map AI triigers
4. single player mission maps
voice actor (not as badly needed, but still would be nice to vary the voices a bit)
finally, anyone who is good at making cut-scenes or at least decent comic-type strips i could use to emphasize the story

so come on, im gonna have to ditch this mod if i dont get a mapper soon. you need YR and the ability to make good detailed single and multiplayer maps that are compatible with the mod and include the new units. if you want to make maps PM me and ill tell ya what we need.

These things can wait off till a final version IMO. Making these things now before the basis of the mod and the graphics are near beta ready is justa hassle..

orange) Why is this? wont your units work on anymap if they are in the ini..

yellow) This should probably not even be started yet (except for possibly planning mission breifings and such) because without all the coding and grapics done it is pointless

red) again, something that can wait. I strongly suggest working on getting a beta out, which would be a functional mod with all the unit graphics and coding. Then you can work on things like loading screens and missions for the final release. Possibly after people see your work in a beta they will be more willing to help

Sounds like another newbie modification.I have tons of good voxels (inlcuding my own Akula and Delta 4 SSBN Sub Voxels) but I wont give you them because this is a newbie modification.

yotta, maybe you should look around more before you call sonmeone a noob, how long have yoyu been here? not long, you only have 25 posts for cryin out loud, i on the otherhand have 561, and most people here know me as a pretty good modder. i did use tibed at one point and i do regret it, it really messed ym mod up and now i do it by hand. and why in the first place did you get the idea it was a newbie mod? did you even have a reason or were you just bored? think before you speak my friend, and dont be a hyppocrite. i give everyone credits who helps me, even if they're work isnt direcly visible (AI, INI, EVERY EFFING THING)

Someone could start making basic maps now and as the coding and graphics are finished, the maps can be added to aswell.

red) I agree. People are more likely to help a mod, if that mod already has playable beta version available.

just a hint

try making the mod on your own first, like the first version

if its a n00b piece of crap, people wont apply

but if you are skilled like you say you are, and the mod is decent, then you will get people who will want to help for a good cause


Dont just make a huge list of people you want, before anything is even done on the mod, it wont get you anywhere unless you have somehting substantial to show for your mod.
