Deployable Infantry Anyone???

Only vehicles are deployable, so aircrafts are also out of the question (in case you were thinking of bringing the Siege Chopper over from RA2). QUICK_EDIT

The seige chopper is a vehicletype. It uses the balloon hover logic in RA2 (well, I guess that's not in TS anyway). Actual aircraft (IE the Harrier, which uses the same flight logic as TS's helicopters IIRC) still can't deploy in RA2.

That might be your best workaround. Can't remember if you can assign deployment sounds on a per-unit basis however...

Though the main problem I see with that (considering my negligible experience modding TS) is that you would only be able to attack one target at a time as opposed to multiple targets simultaneously as you would expect from a squad of deployed individuals. QUICK_EDIT

Deploy = Vehicle Type -> Building Type only. Reverse is true for Undeploy.
Also, Free Unit given with a Building Type is always a Vehicle Type, thus you'lll need to make a Building that looks like a stationary APC which spawns "Infantry Squad" shp-vehicle as a workaround.
That is, unless someone found a way to spawn an APC loaded with Infantry, then we'll have a field day.
Just a thought, you could always have the APC deploy into a bunker-style Building, with animated infantry shps surrounded by sandbags (like what Gravedust said). That would be kinda cool to have for a GDI-based structure. QUICK_EDIT
