Subject description: Campaign Issues. Help please.
Unable to Initiate Map Selection!
Is the message I receive when beating the first mission of both the allied and soviet campaign on my mod. Using the tutorial on Modenc I was finally able to make my Yuri's Revenge Ares Mod work with the original campaigns, only to run into another wall. I searched Google and ppm and found some old topics, none which answered my problem. The only hint I got was it might be a left over bug from TS which involves country tags. I speculate this might be the case since my country/side lists were changed for my mod, forcing me to alter houses and countries on mission/campaign maps.
If anyone can help me figure this out It would be really helpful and very much appreciated. I attached the maps mix file and rules file below in a .rar file.

Hmmm, i remember it happened sometimes, actually, there was some topics about this. My guess would be the missionmd.ini as it shows to loading screen to the name of the mission and the next one; also considering the last tag maps have (soviets01UMD.map) maybie if you put this when the next mission actually is smd,etc... it would cause this. QUICK_EDIT
I looked at about 4 other posts about it, none were ever resolved accept for one years ago, and they never said how they fixed it, only a vague hint that it had something to do with editing countries.
As for the ini, the only thing that has been edited with campaign is the campaign maps themselves. They use the preexisting map names and missionmd.ini, so if the original game works, they should too. So it has to be something about how countries houses are setup which eludes me.

I wouldnt have thinked of it if it wasnt for fraser, since he mentioned about the soviet layout being used in allied map. The idea was to have it that way, but i thought the Side, Preffix and Suffix might actually call a map progression in the game code, so it does. Having the incorrect values according to map progression makes an old TS bug pop up."

Okay so I went and tried updating my mapselmd.ini file. Well it made it so I could get to allied mission 2.
What I did was modify mapselmd.ini to use the correct sides.
On allied level 3 I had the same error as I was getting before.
And also on allies mission 1 I think yuri is selling its dominator, making mission end early.
On mission 2 allied you win after 8 seconds into mission before getting the for-mentioned Unable to Initiate Map Selection! error/bug.
Also soviet side is still not beatable at all. "I had not tested soviet side much and had been focusing on Allied side." Also for some reason the time machine turns purple instead of going to your side after you destroy the pillboxes surrounding it, this isn't normal right?

Well I tried fixing my rules more and also tried updating countries more in maps in an attempt to get it working, still no go. IF anyone can take a look at my attached files to try and get why my mod's campaign isn't working that would be some awesome help thanks!

Okay so I deleted and backed up my work on trying to make mission maps work for my mod. Took a fresh mix and started reediting the entire thing.
So far I did 3 mission maps for allied side. Then I hit a snag.
When starting the game, it crashes. This is actually similar to another thread, as he had the same error "EIP 0072652D" but never said how he fixed it.
Now As you know I'm using ares and have changed the original countries and sides, which is why I've been having issues getting the original campaigns to work.
Now the EIP 0072652D on modenc says the bug is caused by "There is a trigger in the map that wants to change a house's non-existent object to another house."
But I'm not sure how to fix that, and with Ares is the eip even right?

AFAIK, EIPs are correct if you use Ares.
Which map is that?
