How do you make a vehicle not have the ability to be picked up by a carryall?, this vehicle does need to be on my side.

No. NonVehicle only prevents it from being repaired by a repairvehicle.
It can still be carried by a carryall.

Nonvehicle also stops hijackers from capturing it. ModEnc seems to have it wrong: This was used in Tiberian Sun to prevent such units being repaired on a Service Depot and Carryall=yes units from picking them up (such units were VehicleTypes but considered as being infantry). I recall testing it, and NonVehicles can be repaired on service depots. But they can't be repaired by the Nod repair vehicle?

IIRC Nonvehicle=yes is used on TO's boats to prevent them from being picked up (since once picked up, the carryall can't land again).

@ Orac, I don't think that's true, it's a different tag that allows them not to be picked up.

Really?
Time to check, I guess.
I know that they can't be picked up, since I remember reporting that bug specifically. Since they could before and they can't now, you must have done something #Tongue

Yep NonVehicle can be repaired on a repair bay.

@Morpher: please enlighten us. How do you prevented vehicletypes from being picked up?

It's not useful without an exe hack but I used CoreDefender tag, but I used it on ships to use a larger foundation box mainly and if I remember right, it prevents carryalls from picking it up which is also beneficial for me.

The cordefender tag? so "Coredefender=yes" the cordefender in tibsun can be picked up by a carryall, looks rather odd but it works. so which tag should I use? Nonvehicle=yes?. The caryall tag yes or no doesn't prevent a vehicle from being picked up, and Id rather not make my core defender airbourne haha

Yeah, change Carryall=yes to Carryall=no on the Carryall. Problem solved Smile

It's still not working, I want a specific unit, (the core defender) to not be able to be picked up by a carryall, however other units still are able to be picked up by the carryall.

I don't wan't to remove the carryall's function itself, as this will affect all the vehicles too.

If I did turn it into an aircraft type, how can it prevent it from flying, just ground movement, hence a dodo #Tongue
