Steam Command & Conquer Special
Subject description: FIVE Command & Conquer Titles for only $4.99 each!
I know, I know. There has been a lot of hate talk about Command and Conquer as of late, but this weekend, steam is selling 5 Command and Conquer Titles (3 games, 2 expansion packs) each for 75% off! If you've been holding back on getting some of those titles, now is the best chance to get them at a reasonable price!
Happy Gaming! _________________ You come for the modding but you stay for the Crap Forum. QUICK_EDIT
I can finally almost complete the collection then aside from still missing Sole Survivor. I'll do that this weekend once my first paycheck from my new job reaches my bank account. QUICK_EDIT
I've never actually played Tiberium Wars and or Kane's Wrath before, so I think I'll buy those, just to see what I've missed out on. Of course, I wont be able to until Steam decides that it wants to verify my account any time today... The rest should be 100% off. QUICK_EDIT

While you're at it, go and try Tiberium Essence QUICK_EDIT

Is RA3 (and maybe Uprising) worth buying? I played the demo and thought it wasn't bad but I was going to wait until it dropped in price. Obviously, I haven't got around to buying it yet. _________________

RA3 has a fun multiplayer IMO, the campaign is ok for a laugh too. Definately might as well get it for so cheap.
You know what... for £4 I might have to get *gasp* C&C4, just to see how bad the story goes. Don't like the gameplay but hey its the end of the series for £4. QUICK_EDIT
Uprising is worth it Clazzy. The challenge missions and 4 short campaigns are respectable, the only thing that really kileld that xpack was lack of MP. _________________ Please, read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT

Uprising, in my opinion, brought good single player and a rather interesting meta-game. Outside of lacking the multiplayer (which would be inbalanced as hell, anyway), it's a great expansion, that at times, overshadows the original RA3.
I still wonder if I should buy C&C3 when I would be able to. I dislike the squads, rather bland storyline, and multiplayer based on rushing (without camping a few hours first, like in RA2).
C&C4... I think I saw it in a few bargain bins for less, anyway. _________________ DUNK! QUICK_EDIT
Just saw it on steam, but i'm only getting Uprising for now.
Apparently the prices aren't similar everywhere:
RA3 €4,99 (shouldn't have bought premier when it came out, but was a good lesson)
Uprising €2,49 (taking DaFool's advice, and not leaving such a deal.)
CnC 4 €12,49 (seen it on screenshots and heard from stories, still way too expensinve, make it €5 and then maybe)
Kane's Wrath €4,99 (still thinking about it)
CnC 3 €4,99 (paid €10 for it a year ago, and i must say it's worth it, even without mods)
I bought C&C 3. Everything else - nn.
And dear gods, I hope that it is a way better then I expect _________________

To those of you whom of ordered something from the site, did you get a shipping confirmation email from Steam? I've only gotten a receipt from PayPal and I haven't heard anything from Steam yet, even though the site said an email would be sent to me confirming my order "in a few moments". QUICK_EDIT

Normally you should get an e-mail in a few minutes when you've ordered something. QUICK_EDIT
I already have TW/KW and RA3. Got zero interest in Uprising, and TT, well, I'd like to see what they did with the story but that's still too much for it.
I can recommend TW and KW though, they're definately EA's best C&C's.
I'd buy KW, but it requires the Steam version of C&C3 so.. I'd have to buy that again
The rest aren't of any interest to me.
Killing Aro even in basic C&C3/Tiberium Essence should be fun though
We need a TE battle with the TI staff sometime soon
Yes. I need to own Aro
@Dutchy: Too bad... cant you transfer TW into steam (creating the same folder as Steam would + integrate it in Steam) or wouldnt it work neither 'cause steam changed the version at whole...? _________________

Lets play RA2, all of you versus me. I wont even break a sweat. TW Shouldn't be any different, just as soon as I find out WTF everything does. QUICK_EDIT
