Huh, I don't get it. You mean even those assets are public nowadays? AFAIK latest Lao Tze arts are forbidden, because of the note on Graveyard's downloads. QUICK_EDIT

Since Lao Tze left (this being YEARS ago), all his assets were made public. QUICK_EDIT
Were they? That said he never seemed to have a problem with people using specific ones if they asked. He gave me permission to use a few if I wanted. I even have a couple of infantry he modelled and I animated knocking around from my somewhat stalled mod. QUICK_EDIT
I've done the base, but it seems I cant do the man. But i can make a cockpit
cheers for starting it and if you do properly struggle with the man inside mybe you could try putting a glass dome or window on it abit like a ts attack bike QUICK_EDIT

As far as I remember, he had a chat with a member of the community and later spread to the rest of the community, in which he mentioned that all his assets are free to use.
Besides, when was his mod last released? 2003, 2004?...
It kinda makes the assets free too use IMO. Its likely he won't come back.
Same for other age-old assets I say. Time passed, yet those assets are left there in the dust.
If the mod's job was done, I don't see why it couldn't help out other mods. QUICK_EDIT
Eh, that topic is kind of shrouded. I don't remember anywhere that he has technically left or made everything public, and there is that note:

I have the main model almost done, It's not like the concept pic, but I did it in my own style. I just have a few more things to do it, then I'll add the dude, and the textures. It will probably come with an option of .shp or voxel. I havent decided yet.
I plan on using this in my mod, but I will release it to those interested in using it.

Well, I was thinking more of a JumpJet type .shp vehicle with some firing anims. Don't think it would work as well as an Infantry, but I could give it a whole new set of sequences.
Right now I'm working on a firing anim involvng the guy. Gonna try to make him look around and activate another lever "not added yet" to launch side missles during an AA "dog fight" Attack. _________________

Nice, but IMO it's more closer to a spawned chopper than a gyrocopter.
But if I get a Soviet Aircraft Launcher or something, I'll definitely used it. This is how its going to be. I had some different plans for animations, but I'm time strapped. So spinning rotors is all we get for now. I'll have it .shp tomorrow as I'm dog tired from work today. I'll figure out the FLH's and stuff for ya too. It's a 1.5 cell unit.
