Some question about heli

What i know heli-miner can't be used by AI, how to solve that?

Can heli-deploy-transform-into-building and vice versa?

Are you sure Furry? I've tried it before and Jumpjets can deploy into buildings and vice-versa. Confused

Yes a JumpJet vehicle can deploy into a building. The only problem is that DeployFacing= on its DeployInto= building does not work.

Heli Miners work just fine for AI.

I've never had the AI properly use any miner that doesn't use a standard vehicle locomotor.

I dont know why HyperCam never makes a good gif, but heres one of AI using heli miners. They also produce them from the war factory without any path failure or anything of the sort too.

Heli miners are a pretty slow way to move an economy. Either they spend too much time moving from cell to cell in order to harvest, or they can't carry enough to make their use feasible.

Who cares if they work? It's a hassle to use them.

Each JumpJet vehicle has its individual facing parameters in its locomotor instance, which means the Force Facing script does not work on it when it is in the air.

Thats why i use both heli and normal miners. Heli Miners are good for crossing rivers,lakes,oceans to get to ore not obtainable from normal miners if no bridges are present. They actually work better than you portray them. Yeah, they are a little slow to unload but other than that I find them very useful.
