Tiberium growth.
Hi all,
I've noticed the rules on where tiberium may grow have changed from vanilla TS. Tiberium can now grow on mould, which was strange at first but looks ok now, but it can also grow on terrain like Infested Wet Ground. It doesn't really look good ingame, and it doesn't make much sense either. Is this a bug? A feature?
Tib-growth on mould was intended to be this way, but on infested wet ground really seems to be a bug. _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings
I'm going to hijack my own topic instead of making a new one:
The Tiberium Reactor for Nod is also a Tiberium Silo. Strange thing is that the image of the reactor is green (filled) when empty, and the more filled it gets, the more empty it seems. Something wrong with the order of the images? QUICK_EDIT
here's what i wrote in the staff forum explaining the situation

originally i wanted to show the more green silo gas, the fuller the silo. But due to a WW coding stupidity, is the first silo frame not used. Thus i had to reverse the silo stages, with green gas visible when empty and the container closed when full.
The original description was like this:
-The powerplant uses a plasma field to create a charged field. Tiny amounts of Tiberium are the catalyser to achieve a plasma field without the need for much energy. A weak energy force field would make sure, that the plasma is safely contained and would allow charged particles from the surrounding to easily move into the plasma field.
-The plasma field would use the special properties of tiberium to attract charged particles. These collected particles would then provide the energy production.
-Since sometimes the catalyser Tiberium partikel is disintegrated, a constant supply of Tiberium is necessary, thus the included silo. If no tiberium would be present, the plasma field generation and reaction would stop and the powerplant would disable itself.
-Since the needed amount of Tiberium is microscopically small and just used for the catalyser, there is no noticeable money/tiberium drain.
-The plasma heats the stored Tiberium particles, thus the full Tiberiumtanks need to be cooled by open vents. This would explain the pulsating silo and the more visible tiberium fluid, the fuller the silo.
However, since WW coded the first silo frame to be invisible/unused, i had to reverse the silo fill stages. So you could explain it like this.
-A constant amount of tiberium gas (collected from the air) is stored inside the silo (thus the pulsating tiberium) for the catalyser. The more solid tiberium is harvested and stored, the more vents have to close to keep the collected tiberium safe.
