Anyway reproduce TS's damage spark effect?

I have added

DamageParticleSystems=SparkSys,SmallGreySSys

to units, but it doesn't work. Is this feature unusable?

Can't do, RA2 has disabled spark particle systems from being called from damageparticles and thus accepts smoke systems only.

If you think about it though, you'd probably never notice it amongst the bright RA2 terrain.

You could make a spark anim & then attach it to a very short smoke Particle...
