Probably the fact that his work is nowhere near up to the quality standards of that which you've produced for Reign of Steel. He'd need to improve a huge deal before even coming close to matching your work. QUICK_EDIT

Luigi, once you produce work like this (see below), you may get a job. This is all BOTTOM LINE, bottom of the scale. This work is only "Mediocre". and there's no way in hell you're a "medium-advanced" because an advanced modeler would be making games or movies. There are very very few people here that are at that level of realism.

ME do THAT,not even in a million years,i can ONLY do the model,but then the textures are TOTALLY off the deal,CG textures,Google,other texture sites,they all tell you this: do it yourself,and am a lazy guy here.
BTW dudes,i have already been contacted by many modders for small time jobs which they liked pretty much,i will ALWAYS be having 16 hours of free time,which means i can take many many many requests,I am still taking requests everyone,the quality of my work is variable,my voxels are all crapy because they are converted witn 3ds2vxl,my skills keep climbing,and i can assure you that pretty soon,i will have a unit which will enter the spotlights.
Don't tell anyone....this is just a few minutes work.

Just a word of advise mate: don't be so full of yourself, and listen to DaTS, as he has a hell lot more skills then you have, and has most likely worked for much bigger mods then you have. QUICK_EDIT

all you need just good texture and UV skill to make those building. and take more time to design what you want to make before start model it.
- Gangster have release his model from old mod "exodus" maybe you should check how he work.
- Ea release C&C3 model and Ra3 model as max format. it's good idea to study from their work either. [i can remember i learn how to paint texture look fine and fast from C&c general model even now i still stuck with their style ]
and i think every artist need their time to get some piece. however i think you can make the building with quality like the first picture that daTS show not more than 3 hour if you already have design in the paper.
and don't need to care those space ship. even me too lazy to make model like that. :p [that's the reason why i point to texture work]
i just check some of you wotk. it wasn't too bad just try to creation more different looking part before combine them. it'll make your model look more interesting.
and the reason i don't need modeler that not because i want only god skill artist but because it very hard to keep working standard. different artist different style. i think everyone should understand. QUICK_EDIT
