News that are not that new...
There are two things that happened here, many of the visitors know it happened, but I havent posted about it. So, I've decided to clear things up.
First of all, remember that Mammoth Mk2 picture in a new angle showed as picture of the day? Those who could be bothered to visit this topic at CnC Editing Tools found out that the picture was made with a new program, under development, called Open Source Voxel Viewer which is being made by Stucuk. The program renders the voxel with OpenGL technology and renders a background emulating the ground. You can have really good views of your voxels with that. Here's a sample of an old version (click on it for full size picture):
The program is still in alpha stage, at least until Stucuk find out how to sort the problems that he is having with turret and barrels positions, specially blades from helicopters.
In other entirelly different news, people may already have noticed that we have a new tutorial that I wrote about Using Custom Schemes At VXLSE II & III, so those who have the beta of VXLSE III might do a good use of it. You may require the OS Palette Editor 1.1 and a text editor to edit it.
And finally, we are very close to start another public beta testing here... I'm nearly done with OS SHP Builder 3.0. I'll keep you updated on this one. QUICK_EDIT
