Hello!

I have some big problem with the attached voxel. It's the well known hind transport, which I slightly modified.

I used Voxel Section Editor III to edit and save the file, but I don't know what I did wrong. I first thought that something might be wrong with the normals, so I used the auto-normals option, but it did not help. I still get IEs very randomly. Sometimes they occur immediately when the hind transport leaves the war factory, sometimes I can play for a whole hour until the game crashes.

Can a voxel expert check the files?

I know little to nothing about voxels but I think your problem would most likely be with the coding.

The error won't disappear if I simply replace the Blackhawks voxel. I also tried the other way round. I used the Blackhawk voxel with my hind transport code. No IE anymore.

That's why I am pretty sure it's not a coding problem. One of the Ares guys investigated the IE and found out, that the game crashes within the voxel drawing code.

whats the code you used? meaning did you change or add anything... and what is the ie message you get

your vxl only has Index=0 "rotor" and Index=1 "body", and your using ShadowIndex=2 which dosent exist and is why your getting the random IE from this vxl.

That's it. I tried for half to reproduce the IE, but it does not occur any longer if I set ShadowIndex=1.

Thanks! I wish I posted my code earlier. That would have saved my many many hours...
