MigEater's DDay
Subject description: My rant against A**holes
Well before I found out Mig was creating DDay I started my own WW2 MOD. I started digging around and looked at how extensive WW2 actually was. The battles and list of equipment is extensive. Then I find he was doing his own mod. Well I have been following the mod for quite some time. I was bit disappointed by the delay back in Dec of last year. But whether I knew the reason or not (but I did) I was still waiting for the release> I follow the updates and look forward to the release. From current news there is only 2 people working on it and I know from the list of vehicles and such that amount of work for 2 people is taxing between life and modding. I get sick of whinny snot nose little bastards asking when its going to be done. Or how come you can't release some kind of beta version. People bitch because it's taking so long.

God you f**kin kids today need a swift kick in the a**. The work is amazing on so many levels; the amount of vehicles, the terrain, the buildings. And all they do is bitch. According to Ye Ye he has seen better? I have only downloaded maybe 11 mods for Yuri/RA2 and played 6 and they were pretty decent, what crappy mod is this jerkoff playing?Does it have the quality that we see in DDay pics? Prob not....From what I see this mod it has the making of something along the lines of professional. I wish people would STFU and wait like every one else and stop the bitching. Kids today all they do is whine and cry and mommy & daddy buys them stuff to shut them up. If I whined like this little kids of today do my mom or dad would have cracked me across the mouth and said "want me to give you something to whine about?" Dam Right, Those quotes are stupid, DDay is by far the best quality mod I have ever seen for this game and provides so much Artwork its insane.
D-day is my hobby, I'm not interested in fans or fame I do this because it's fun. As Allied General once said D-day is my toy box where I keep all my toy soldiers.
That, and to be fair, most non-modders have hard time understanding the modding process and how time-consuming it can get so you just have to either deal with it or ignore it entirely, really. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

No........MigEater is not an A**hole.....well, he could be I don't know him personally to make such a judgement. As far as my opinions on him is he is a cool person with serious talent, but... I always say "I am not an A**hole...I am their King!!!"
This is the way I look at life....I am old enough to speak my mind and don't care who I offended. Example:
I bought a bottle of Johnie Walker Blue for my birthday. I was going to share this with some close friends. So we met up on this Sunday (my bday). Now my ex had taken my shot glasses so I had to buy new ones. The four of us went up to the mall and as we got close to the entrance there is an svu dropping of this young girl. The mother was a beastly thing dropping off this girl who couldn't have been more than 16. It was November and bit chilly but this girl was wearing a mini skirt and a shirt that didn't come down to her skirt. I turned to my 3 friends and said "Wow, I didn't know the mall had prostitutes."
They were shock I said this loud enough for this girl to hear 15 ft away. She got pissed and flicked her cigarette butt at a friend who she thought made the remark. A few people around the entrance started to laugh. My one friend asked me "You know she heard you?" Which I replied "I hope so, I said it loud enough so those people heard me. Sides dress like a $lut at that age and no says anything? Her mom didn't care she dressed like that. Maybe next time she will wear something a little more appropriate. Some guys will not care of her age and something bad could happen."
Anyway....My mom always said can't say something nice then don't say anything at all........well, screw that. Stupid people need to be made aware that they are...I should do as the comedian joked about and hand out signs. Maybe they are unaware that they are stupid and need to be told so.

I know some of my work isn't great, but I think it's not bad. That is why I post topics and pics. I want to give the RA2/Yuri Community something they will see and want to use in a mod. I take in all comments and suggestions whether positive or negative and look at what they like/dislike and look to make it better. But if you are going to whine because a FREE mod isn't done then you should think about that and correct the situation. If anyone is offended that I call kids today whine snot nose b*tches, I am sorry.....sorry, no I am not. I agree with Niky, but yeah mate it's just what modders have to put up with, those whiny lil twats who constantly moan about wanting a release date etc. just ignore the fuckers and vent your anger in a constructive way (I count this as constructive) _________________ Beta Tester for Mental Omega 3.0
Anyway I've had over 10 years of ppl whining/bitching, death threats & even hackers. If ppl what to waste there time complaining then that's their problem, TBH I couldn't really care less. Nothing they say or do is going to speed up or slow down work on D-day, so meh...
PS: I'm the only one working on D-day, Andre hasn't done any work in a very long time, he hasn't resigned either so he is kinda honorary staff etc _________________
In all fairness, D-day hasn't had a public beta or anything out yet as still lots of refining to do not to mention asset work to make but you know this community, its bitch & whine for release but very few actually can help/or appreciate the work involved and d-day gets release when miggy feels its done enough. Studies, jobs or occupation and hobbies are good ways of relieving time if you have "nothing but time on your hands". They can also be beneficial. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
BTW I have a girlfriend that lives in a different country from me, so when I go see her it's not for an afternoon but a month or two etc. During which time I'm slightly distracted & can't do as much modding as if I was at home.
I've been doing this for the past 4 years now & it has doubled D-day's production time. I wouldn't be surprised if I'd have D-day finished by now if we didn't hook up XP _________________
