I'm in the Netherlands ATM but I've been in contact with my family & they say it's all normal there.
I doubt anything will happen in Portsmouth tho, specially with the Royal Navy's main base next door to the shopping center, the rioters would have to fight though the armed guards across the street first... _________________

They could deploy a couple hundred soldiers and have them fire rubber bullets in the crowds. There'd be some injuries but if you're willing to riot and burn shit down then you deserve to lose an eye or two.

Sickening isn't it? But there light was finally shed today when the police have been given permission to use rubber bullets, which should of been done in the fucking first place. Things were quite quiet in Birmingham last night, but not long ago an area no more than 10 minutes away from me was being petrol bombed by a group of youths.
I don't understand the logic at all... These are the kind of people that roll around the country "Repping" (Representing) their home areas, yet, they're destroying everything in them just for the sake of it, this has nothing to do with the shooting in London, just dick heads causing trouble for the sake of causing trouble. At this rate, there is going to be nothing left. I really, really hope that these people will all be made an example of and the rubber bullets will start flying.

If this happened in the Netherlands they would immediatly have been using water canons (I've seen them being used even for some footbal riots on TV) rubber bullets and what they call the mobile unit they're special police officers for riots and normal police officers have been trained not to go one-on-one with a rioteer maybe the English policemen could learn something from us _________________

Nope. Here the police would shoot, kill some of them, and then get reprimanded because they where using extreme violence against the rioters. Remember the Rotterdam beach riots of 2 years ago? A whole horde of drugged-up and drunk idiots vs a small group of police officers? They killed one of the rioters and they where punished for it ffs.
