...by bludgeoning him, dismembering and decapitating him.

The child was only seven years old, and had cerebral palsy and heart problems, needed a feeding tube, had limited speech and was in a wheelchair.

The man left the boys head on the roadside for the mother to see.

Source.

Sometimes I don't care what happens to people, but this is truly depressing, and I actually felt guilt when I read this. Words can't really describe how I feel.

My prayers go out to the little boy, and I hope he's been given all that was stolen from him.

I was on The Huffington Post this afternoon and found some rather disturbing articles. The rest paled in comparison when I read this story. I hope no mercy is spared towards the father, if you can even call him that after doing such a thing. The guy is less than fucking human and should just be fed to the dogs. Right after the boy's mother beats the ever living shit out of him for as long as she pleases.

Heard worse TBH, such as a mother killing her 3 y. o. child with cocaine. But then, both cases are disturbing.
However, the planet is full of idiots. Let's just think at what happened in Norway recently. Seems that the dude was not only mad, but also high on drugs. What makes me feel awkward is the jail in which this dude will live for the rest of his life. It's a deluxe hotel, not a prison...
I still can't understand the Nordic prisons, really.

How is cocaine worse than beating, bludgeoning and dismembering?

About the incident itself, I don't know what turns man into a sick bastard like this. Jesus, I can't begin to imagine how the mother's felt when she saw the head...

Depends from what point of view.

If I think at WW2, I can easily say about masses of women who were raped.

@Crimsonum: The woman was feeding him with cocaine since he was born.

In an absolute sense, yes. Because the population grows.

In an relative sense, no. Because there's only a small percentage of humans that's psychopathic or something similar.

Me too. Cases like this are starting to become a norm imo. There's always a case of some nut who killed his/her child and some mom who abandons her baby. Heck, once there was a dead baby found abandoned behind the bus stop NEAR MY HOUSE (not joking. Came out on the newspapers).

Just proves how inhuman these people can be. Calling them animals is not even right as animals, who are not as smart as humans, are far more responsible and caring for their young. Confused

Just pointing out that this is a generalisation. Lion males for example sometimes kill their and others' youngs, in order to prevent possible competitors.

Yeah, some animals do kill their young for numerous reasons (competition, not wanting them to die by a predator's hands, they're naturally cannibals) but most put a lot of love into caring them. Some even make big, life-threatening sacrifices to ensure their young's survival (like a mother octopus not going on hunting and starving herself just so she could guard her developing offsprings). It just shows how much care and dedication animals put in their effort to raise their loved ones.

Compare that to the psychopathtic human parents (who should know better about parenting) who kill their child in cold-blood.

Sorry for the National Geographic moment there #Tongue

Umm, other animals don't "love" their young, they keep them alive as they're hardwired to do so otherwise they naturally wouldn't be alive themselves. We too have these instincts and like other animals some of us are driven to destroy our young for whatever maddening reason. The only difference is that we can then try rationalize it and, failing to find a reason, end up not understanding.

Why should Humans know better about parenting? It has nothing to do with knowledge, it is instinct which drives us to care and if people are as you said "psychopathic" then the instinct wouldn't be present.
