Thanks, but it's not my work. This is downloaded from RA3 ModSDK site. I will be doing some extra updates to it, but thats about all. Credits will still need to go to the auuthor of the model.

Heres a preview of the walk anim

That looks great. When you first said you are going to make one, I thought "he is going to fail". But it turned out awesome Very Happy

There's still a pair of extra tusks coming from the base of its trunk. I don't know about others, but I can't ignore them.

I can't ignore them, since they're kinda inaccurate when it comes to Mammoths.
Mammoths are my favourite extinct animal.

Bad news from the front lines, Somehow my .max file got corrupted and now when I try to open it, it throws me an IE and shuts down the 3dsmax program. So now I have to start all over. #Cussing out

Doh... Mammoths were around about 4.5 million years ago and went extinct just 2500 years BC. Dinosaurs went extinct around 65 million years ago IIRC but existed for something like 170 million before that.

That's like saying Sahelanthropus is close enough to Homo Sapien. There are similarities, but you'd never invite them around for dinner.
Hell, even those are easily linked by the fact that Sahelanthropus is a distant ancestor of H. Sapien! Gah - this is natural history people, not rocket science!

EDIT for accuracy, since this is a damned serious situation.

If it's alright with everyone. I'm just gonna use a fur based texture instead of using the Hair/Fur Modifier. Just takes way to long to render out the frames.

There was this elephant unit on YRArg, I've always thought it was in a good size. There's also that elephant converted from another game which I use.

Maybe a bit too small, depending on which infantry scale you're using.. 100%, 90%, 75% etc.

It's gonna be turnable. I mean having a turret on a mammoth is already wierd, might as well make it turn. Razz
Might even be a good idea to make him Crusher=yes and OmniCrusher=yes too. A herd of elephants running asround crushing tanks and stuff. Laughing
This is gonna be cool, cant wait till I'm done with him.
