Looking for a game

I have been looking for a game that lets me colonize a planet and I can also do this with friends. Like a massive online space game. I would prefer a FPS style or a TPS. Any games like that exist or am I just going to hit a brick wall?

Galactic Civilizations. Tho that is RTS...

Haven't heard of FPS/TPS tho.

the closest you're going to find is EVE Online. You control a ship, and to take/hold planets, you need to be part of a corporation.

Sucks my subscription ran out the month before the new version ran out that lets you walk around on stations.

EVE Online is getting a FPS addon, in which you play mercenaries fighting ground wars for the greedy fucks flying space ships around.

x-3 terran something and freelancer, though freelancer is quite old, you can find some mods which overhaul the graphics
