is there a way of making a vehicle which spawns 5 terrors drones when it attacks and then they come back to the vehicle which launched them like the aircraft carrier (i don't mind if the terror drone don't come back to vehicle as long as they respawn)

No. Impossible.

A, Terror Drone is a vehicle. You can only spawn aircrafts.

B, Terror Drone is an SHP. Aircrafts can only be voxels.

oh but what if i edited the slave miner logic so that terror drones are used insted would that work?

did you ever see slaves get deployed when the slave miner was a vehicle? no? guess why?

Also, you can't use that because there can be only one slave and that is... yeah the slave.

Slavves ca only harvest, and they can be only infantry.

MakeInfantry? You could try it, but I wouldn't even begin trying to list all the things wrong with this logic when firing on tanks or buildings. AreaFire could work but... wait it probably won't.

Check kenosis' mod on moddb. IIRC, he made something about terror drones.

Wait, you could probably have an AreaFire-ing, MakeInfantry infantry which makes Terror Drone infantries.

No can do and Kenosis trick is only visual moving animation with boom, not actual terror drone so not do what is wanted.

Mutation logic comes with ownership issues if wanted infantry drones, Kenosis generally went around it with creating dummys with makeinfantry and repeating the process with second mutation strike to get own side ones but such is just, prone to failing in some ways.... Might work better in ARES.

Well I can think of a workaround with ares, basically you make the unit deploy into a building. This unit well call Teror Spawner.

This building Terror Spawner spawns the special new terror drone units with a special armor type "this is for the Spawner Killer's Generic SW" every few seconds. It also spawns a insignificant building which has a special armor type "this is to prevent it from being killed by yourself or enemy players to cheat".

The new special spawned building "Spawner Killer" has a Generic SW which fires every x game seconds which will destroy itself and all spawned Terror drones within 11 cell radius around it. At this point the Terror Spawner building if timed correctly will spawn the next attack wave of drones and the process will continue to repeat itself.

So terror Spawner spawns Drones after 15 seconds, they get 10 seconds to attack nearby targets before the secondary Spawner Killer building destroys itself and all spawns. Then a 5 second pause before a new batch of spawned drones appears again.

To balance this further you could add a secondary SW on Terror Spawner which destroys itself if left deployed for too long a period.

If you need help making this I could probably make most of it for you, and then you would just have to adjust Sw's timing's to your liking and balancing. "I know this works and I used a similar setup for a few of my own custom sw's in my mod such as my dropod."

Edit: Thought about it, if using this method terror drones should not be allowed to be selected, further they should not be able to enter units as they could enter a unit and avoid being destroyed by secondary building.

A good use for code would be buildable dog kennels which auto spawn gaurd dogs that keep dying and coming back. I'm sure this method could be put to other uses as well.

I made a building that generates conscript.The same,generating infantry vision drone is not so difficult.Find it in RA2DIY.

with ARES.. hmm

unit that deploy into building, which hold a unitDelivery SW, with AI targeting set to building itself and the SW is autofire.

result :
A unit that if deploy, generates some drones nearby.

side effect :
the unit must have buildLimit set to 1? i dont know the effect of some buildings hold same SW
