How do I make walls connect to buildings. (See below, note the component tower has become the Vulcan tower and is one complete building)

If I'm not mistaken, it's the WallTower tag. You should put the component towers name on it.

Yeah, the building walls are able to connect to is defined after WallTower= and you can only specify a single building. Gates on the other hand, are hardcoded to always connect to walls.

My bad, it seems I was slightly off (I didn't have access to a rules.ini file when I posted). What allows gates to connect to walls are the following keys: GDIGateOne=, GDIGateTwo=, NodGateOne= and NodGateTwo=.
Those keys only make buildings connect to 2 specific sides (depending on whether it's the gate one or two key), so they probably won't be useful to use for anything but gates.
