I've been studying MBTI for half a year and I'm still quite sure that I'm INFJ. I also think I'm an enneagram type 5.
IMO it's better to do some deep study to discover what MBTI cognitive functions you're using to help you discover what type you really are. There's 8 of them and I shortly describe them and how they work:
Ni - Introverted iNtuition
Si - Introverted Sensing
Ti - Introverted Thinking
Fi - Introverted Feeling
Ne - Extroverted iTuition
Se - Extroverted Sensing
Te - Extroverted Thinking
Fe - Extroverted Feeling
Ti, Fi, Te, Fe are judging functions.
Ni, Si, Ne, Se are perceiving functions.
Ni and Ne are future oriented perceiving functions, Ni likes to see the future with the information that has been gathered from the past, and Ne gathers the information that is present. Intuition is that you see the whole context first, and details starts to build around that context. Coming up with numerious theories is something that an intuitive person likes to do.
Si and Se are present oriented perceiving functions, Si like to see the future with the information that has been gathered from the past, and Se gathers the information that is present. Sensing is that you see the details first and then start building the context around the details. Facts and concrete information is something that a sensor likes hold to.
Ti, Te both works with (cold) logical thinking and rational values. Decisions with these functions are like seeing everything as "objects" and ignoring feelings because they're seen as irrational and not worthy enough to be included while making decisions.
Fi, Fe both works with warm thinking and (ir)rational values. Decisions made with these functions is how you feel about the current situation and what are other people's feelings and values. Fe is mostly oriented to values and feelings around you, and sometimes the type with this function is hard to ignore others' feelings and values and only use own values and feelings for the decision.
With personality type ISTJ your first function is introverted and last letter indicates what function is extroverted. And in this case Si - Te - Fi - Ne and last one is you inferior function. This type most likely cope with the present moment with the information/skills learned from the past and makes decisions with (cold) logical thinking and values.
With personality type ESFP your function order is Se - Fi - Te - Ni. This type copes with the situations how it sees it with the information that is present. This type is very out-going.
Every second function is introverted and every other is extroverted. Every single type uses sensing, intuition, feeling and thinking as their cognitive functions. If a type uses Si, its opposite function is Ne.

I'd add another MBTI test which measures how strong you cognitive functions are and it also gives you the type letters and I think this is quite accurate:
ENTP - "Inventor". Enthusiastic interest in everything and always sensitive to possibilities. Non-conformist and innovative. 3.2% of the total population. _________________ You come for the modding but you stay for the Crap Forum. QUICK_EDIT
ENFJ - "Persuader". Outstanding leader of groups. Can be aggressive at helping others to be the best that they can be. 2.5% of total population.[/quote] QUICK_EDIT
ESFP - "Entertainer". Radiates attractive warmth and optimism. Smooth, witty, charming, clever. Fun to be with. Very generous. 8.5% of the total population.
