I see this topic earlier, but i don't have any Photoshop or Illustrator installed yet.

Change that typeface, Get something solid like Futura, Century, Interstate or such.

eh, perspective of the background firing into the foreground and the blast abrubtly stopping on nothing, kinda makes it look weird. I'd say fade the electricity from top to mid. Venomrage doesn't look like it fits at all, blah coloring, the original darker red and gold is better (same as your avatar) IMO.

Why are you distorting the background in either pic? The background image already doesn't look that great, but you're making it worse.

The background lacks the sharpness of the logo, the 'venomrage' text mismatches against the actual logo and the 'command and conquer' text on it, and the distortion effects on the font isn't helping.

Find a background that doesn't clash against the logo, and find a text that won't look tacky when green and added to the final product. It took me two hours to get mine done and I didn't really do a whole lot.

@O'Bolt, Deformat: One of the versions of lefthand's logo does have Tiberium already on it.

- Get rid of the background. You don't need it.

Do you really need the tiberian in the logo? It is only there because the original crystal was not exactly tiberian but I thought people might be interested in using one with the glowing, green crystal.
