I am not going to comment on the authenticity of the document in question, but Slavik's first name being different along with the numerous other things that do not match with the final game could be explained by it having been made early on during the development process.

But yeah, can't really say for sure whether or not it's real or not. If it's real, it's either an early draft like I guessed above or WW were just sloppy in this respect as well. Hardly looks like an official document. Some of the actual content is quite interesting, though.

I'd say it's real, parts of it are identical to the sheets seen in the TS Platinum manual. Like Starkku said, it was crafted very, very early in TS development.

Still, it's such a fantastic mess that I can barely read through it. I like the dramatic way Westwood was able to describe things with, though.

Common mistake in TS, just look at tutorial.ini. Same with Umagaan.

What do you now mean is the right one? Hassan or Hasaan?

btw, Umagaan is also called Umagon in rules.ini. Don't know what the real final name should be.

Hassan is a common arabic name, so Hasaan is a typo. Umagon was originally referred to as Umagaan (and still is in some of the script lines), but since it's a fictional name anyway, it doesn't really matter which way it is.

WW also often calls CABAL "Cabaal" in tutorial.ini. It's pretty impressive how much polishing they did.

And yes, the writer is apparently someone who has been involved with RA and TS. As a screenwriter, someone hired at the end of the writing process, for script writing.

Being such a late product, it is obviously a work of canon rewriting.
Who commissioned it?
Why?
Was it ever used for anything?
The first two questions, both I and a few others have our suspicions.
The answer to the third question is - Nothing.

While it certainly is an interesting read, it falls in the realm of WTF!
It is not canon. It never was canon. Never will be canon.
