What the title says. I know it depends on the occasion, the meal and the mood, but if you have any favourites, do tell.

I'm pretty omnivorous when it comes to wine. I.e. I don't really know them well so I usually randomly pick one #Tongue I tend to lean more towards organic and not-so-expensive products, though. I also prefer red wine over white wine. Sparkling wine is nice too, but it only fits special occasions I think.

Gentlemen, enlighten me with your splendid choices of these marvelous refreshments.

I'm not a big wine connoisseur, but I occasionally enjoy a glass of Merlot, though I prefer rose wine.

Semi-sweet white wine goes the best and my favorite is Fiesta del Sol Semi-Seco (and it's also cheap).

I've also made my own wine from strawberry and white, red & black currants, was around 18-20% alc. vol and it was amazing, but it caused a terrible headache hangover.

To be honest I'm a major fan of local wines, respectively Tohani, Feteasca and there's also another very VERY interesting type of white demisec "Feteasca" wine from Moldova Rep., called "Tomai" which has a really strong smoked and salted almond taste. It's brilliant. You can drink it with anything, doesn't matter if it's sweet, salty, sour or fat, it doesn't matter: It simply works.

There's also a (some say really bad) tradition of people drinking wine diluted with strong sparkling water (since, hey, we have some of the best on the planet) and it works as well, and what's even interesting is that the almond flavor becomes stronger.
