Virtual machine recommendation?

Yeah, got a friend who wants to install W8 on a virtual machine. Any tips for a good one?

From what I've read, WMWare Player is the best one. Other options include VirtualBox and Windows Virtual PC (if he's running Windows 7). I've personally used only Microsoft Virtual PC before (had no need for a better one), but AFAIK it can't run Windows 8.

Virtualbox, just remember to enable 2D acceleration for Windows 8 or else apps will keep crashing.
