Dobrý deň! We've been slow on the C&C news front again, because I'm trying to focus on the text from my master dissertation. I've already implemented a technique to extract triangle models from the models loaded by the Voxel Section Editor III. You can use it if you wish, although the program is only exporting the awful .obj files at the moment. Now I only need to document it. And that's the boring part, of course.

Anyway, the video below may speed up some of the things:

These guys from the Community BattleCast Primetime are doing an amazing job. But there is much more news that were not covered by them. So, here we go:

Game Releases:

Tiberium Alliances has gone live, and of course, it includes the Brotherhood of Nod.

Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances is one of two highly-anticipated releases in the Command & Conquer franchise available in the coming months. In December 2011, it was announced that internationally acclaimed developer, BioWare™ are developing Command & Conquer Generals 2 utilizing the advanced Frostbite™ 2 game engine.

-> CnC3Original mod has been released for... C&C3! The purpose of this mod, brought by zocom7, is to bring the ballance of the vanilla C&C3 to the 1.09 patch. Head HERE to download it and post your comments HERE.

Tool Updates:

- RA2 and YR Optimizer 1.3 has been released thanks to the C&C Graphics Patcher. The Optimizer tool makes the game faster, adds Olaf's auto SS uploader anti cheat with map patch downloader and updater and adds a new shortcut icon.

Mod Updates:

- Mental Omega has several screenshots of their new campaign and Final Alert 2, among other media.

Community Sites:

- CNCNZ.com has completely changed their layout in the middle of the month, making their frontpage less cluttered. It looks good, although I still miss the community links, that could be added somewhere, even if it is some section, so people who browse CNCNZ.com could find out other interesting C&C sites. But that's just my personal opinion.

- PlanetCnC's staff, Dewi, has conducted an interview with the GenTool creator, Xezon. GenTool is an anti-cheat online tool for Generals.

And we'll bring more news on the PPM hosted mods soon. A lot of things happened and most of them were tracked by our News Tracker, which is in the top of our frontpage.
