We had a big downtime yesterday. It happened because Burst.net received a Denial Of Service... Here's some official info from Renegade, from Strategy-X (who pays the server with Detail and Hybrid):



"As some of you may know, burst.net, the company which we rent our server from, was under a large DDoS attack yesterday. That is why the server was down in the first place. In addition, somebody forgot to remove some iptables which protected our server during the attack, so it wasn't available for some more hours. I contacted burst.net's support, and now everything should be back online.

On a sidenote, the mailserver was most probably out of order as well (at least I couldn't access it), so if you sent a mail within the last 36 hours, please re-send it)."



Anyway, we are back and nothing was lost... however, our hosted site Battle Tech: Fire On The Horizon was hacked recently... something that we will deal with asap...
