MOD IDEA/ Help wanted and needed
These are the ideas ive came up with for a mod. and if all your gonna do is insult me on my work please leave now. the name of this mod is TSDP "Tiberian Sun: Dark Planet" and this is the story:
SORRY FOR THE SIZE OF THIS STORYLINE
The year is 2688 AD; Two hundred years ago a trading vessel from the planet Itak discovered another planet 550,682.34 miles off its main course on its way to Earth. The planet looked as if it could sustain life so the vessel sent the information back to its home planet. About a month later a colony ship was sent out to this new discovery. As it was colonized it was also explored deeply. This planet was a vast mountainous and tree filled land and it had oceans of fresh water. They called the planet “AMBER” cause of its high levels of amber near its beaches. Around the amber they found exotic plants and animals that looked familiar to the ones back home, but these life forms were far from the same.
As the years past the planet revolted against Itak and its armies. The war know as “The New Great War” left the planet a barren wasteland, so the people elected a leader named Jordan L. Stern. With their new leader the people worked together to make the planet look as it did before. In later years the empire grew large with population, technology, cities, and military. Soon it became the strongest of the human race and set out to conquer its enemies. Eight days before the ships were launched to conquer Itak an alien race entered and destroyed the great Terminal City and killed most of its 7million citizens. The attack on Itak was cancelled and the study of the new race had begun. The alien race became known as “The Terrines”, its people driven by their religious devotion claimed that Mankind is a cancer to the galaxy and must be destroyed before it destroys all life in the galaxy with its nuclear weapons. Some of the Terrine prisoners claimed that the planets named Earth and Itak had already fallen under their control and that this one was the final step to ending the human race. So the Military this of this planet began aggressively experimenting ways to make super soldiers by mixing human DNA with Amberium Chromosomes. When they tested the finished product they tested it on the Terrine prisoners and it showed to be very affective. Then the military put these new weapons into a full production of 350 a day. As the new soldiers were being created a plan was made to attack a Terrines outpost that could allow communications to spies on the planet and send their information back to the Terrines home planet. 57 hours before launch a surprise attack was made on the entire Ambreian Empire. When the Terrine forces reached a secret science lab they accidentally detonated a top secret Nuclear weapon that could affect an entire planet. The reign of the Amberian power was over; the entire planet was in ruins.
For the next 110 years the planet remained a wasteland of old destroyed cities, radiation, and life less ness the planet was thought to be dead. The year is now 2688 AD just 150 years after the top-secret nuclear bomb went off and life has been detected roaming the planet. Sensors also indicate the plant and wild animal life are now abundant allover the planet. The Arian Empire was the last planet that housed the human race and they sent several teams of scientists to go and figure out what is going on with the planet Amber. The scientists set out on a 2-year expedition to examine the planets conditions, a year later a transmission was sent back to the home planet. As the military advisors and commanders watched in horror as the entire camp was destroyed by an unknown race, and it most certainly wasn’t any type of Terrine force. Two months later the ship that had carried the scientists to the planet had returned home and nobody answered the call from the docking tower to the ship. The military was notified right away and was sent to the docking bay to secure the area. 36 hours had past since the ship arrived and the soldiers claimed they could hear noises coming from inside the ships hull. They said it sounded like a far off moaning and grunting sound, and the screams of scientists pleading for mercy and help from the outside. So the order was made to enter the ship and liberate it. As they opened the main door a man appeared he had one arm gone from the shoulder down and his legs were badly bleeding. As he came closer the soldiers armed their weapons and then the man stopped. He said, “Run!” Then he fell flat on his face and a river of blood came running from his corpse. The next thing that happened was that the unknown race was charging strait at them. Wave after wave of the unknown race came running at them; this lasted for about for about 4 hours. Then the research teams came and picked up some of the unknown corpses and took them to their labs to be studied. As this happened teams of ten were sent in to secure and occupy the ship. A few hours had past and the ship was clear of all hostiles and survivors.
The surviving scientists told of the race as a mutated form of Terrine and human. They said that one-day when they were out on a hike 3 miles Northeast of their camp they found a corps that had most of the Human physical properties as well as some Terrine ones too. They said that it reeked of an unbearable odor when it was opened up for an autopsy. Then the next day more of these creatures came to the camp and destroyed it while 4 other teams from that camp were out hiking. They also reported that they lost communications with the city and mountain camps on the first day but they thought it was caused by the land formations so they ignored it. Now an entire army of specially trained marines has been sent to the planet to see if there are any more surviving scientists still on the planet Amber. They have been given orders to evacuate if big trouble comes and to make sure that only humans are with you when they leave.
Before the Military was sent to this planet the race was identified as the Cartesian Race. They are bout 6ft tall on average and weigh 200lbs and have no vocal cords cause they talk to each other through their minds. This is possible because of their rather large cranial cerebrum. The Cartesians have been nicknamed the “Jaguars” because the have the ability to match their surrounding colors and are very fast runners.
This mod would include:
-2 new side (The Cartesian Race, The Human Race)

-various new skirmish maps
-brand new game menu
-Tiberium is called Amberium instead(just to go with the storyline)
-New weapons
-new supers

because i dont want annoying stuff for people that actually care about this mod being made. now if you think your so great Tratos you can have a spot on my staff if you'd like other wise dont bother me, im a busy guy and i got things to do like get a staff and this story line has no mistakes in it like the other one. Before this degenerates into a slanging match MyTrust, quite while your ahead.
theres nothing wrong with posting ideas for mods on multiple sites and there is nothing wrong with taking an idea for something from something else.
Morpheas, the RA2 and TS community is fading rapidly, not so that there isnt anyone out there, but so that people aren't looking for new mods, so finding help for a new mod will be quite hard... i suggest that you, like i did with my A:AvP mod, is start making stuff for it. If you start to have something to show to people, they will take an interest. QUICK_EDIT

I don't want a spot on your staff, i have much better things to do with my time, for example my own mod. And you could of used the edit button rather than start a new thread. QUICK_EDIT

Yeah, most people who go around asking for staff in there mod don't get people to join, not always because the concept sounds stupid, but because they have no time, or already have way too much on they're plate.
I tried once, I got no replies, but I decided I'm better off going solo, anyway. *starts singing "I did it my way"* _________________ Tiberian Station
