Elaborate more please. And what game it is for. Are you talking about making the graphical stuff for the skeletons or just about the coding? Because if it's the latter this shouldn't be here.

I think what he wants is for the dead bodies that remain after infantry get killed to never disappear. To do that, simply open up Art.ini, look for DEATH_A, DEATH_B, DEATH_C, DEATH_D, DEATH_E and DEATH_F and change Rate=10 to Rate=0 for all of them.

Would this ztype with the game? Like lag? And will the corpses be tougher to destroy than conyards?

Corpses were never destructible to begin with; they're just flat overlay which units can move over.

And yes, depending on your system there is indeed a chance they'd cause lag, although I don't think it'll be noticeable at all on most systems; offline at least.
I'm not sure if there'll be a (big) difference for online games, but since everything there has to be synchronized there, the impact it has on the performance will likely be greater (although I can't say whether it'll be enough to actually cause the game lag or not when there's a lot of corpses on the map).

Yeah, that's my point with them being tougher to destroy than conyards.

Would it be possible to make a workaround giving you destructable corpse-structures?

You could use overlays.

Why would you wanna destroy corpses when your units can just move over them and you can build structures on top of them anyhow?

Dunno, just thinking out loud. Could be fun for some huge tiberium monster.

Like on death, it leaves behind a corpse "building" that spawns a parasite creature that lived inside of it or whatever.

That's entirely impossible with the TS engine.

Get OS SHP Builder, and XCC Mixer... find the SHPs:
death_a.shp
death_b.shp
death_c.shp
death_d.shp
death_e.shp
death_f.shp

The Search is case sensitive so type it exactly like "death_a.shp"

right click and extract it. Open the file and edit it. They use the unittem.pal so it should be set to the right palette on default.

um.....dead bodies will go away if vehicles drive over the affected area. They are not made to stay forever.
