What's the purpose of Category?
According to game.exe it can be set to the following values
AirLift
Air Transport
AirPower
Air Combat Support
Transport
Transport Vehicle
Support
Misc. Support Vehicle
LRFS
Indirect Fire Support
IFV
Infantry Fighting Vehicle
AFV
Armored Fighting Vehicle
Recon
Recon Vehicle
VIP
VIP/Agent
Civilian
Soldier
So for what are these used? The AI doesn't seem to use them, since the ai.ini triggers/scripts etc don't have any setting which says "attack Recon first, then LRFS".
And they also don't seem to change the behaviour of a unit, like avoid threats (e.g. for Recon), move close to enemy (e.g. for Soldier), stay far away (e.g. LRFS) _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings
I'd imagine it would have been for the AI if it was finished, I mean we know the AI isn't what it's meant to be from the AI Generals section, it'd be very useful if the AI had a bit more of an idea on what its units were and their abilities. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
First is an INI Value to Category= and the second is the descriptor, useless to modders AFAIK.
