Interesting fact about RA2 beta cameos

SMIFFGIG

Many of the beta cameos for RA2 (ones in the mix and from the old old version of the RA2 site) are actually renders from Red Alert 1

2 which spring to mind are the Hind cameo (in the RA2 conquer.mix but in TS cameo.pal) and the Allied Grizzly Tank (or watever the hell its called) which uses a render from RA1 of which the model itself dates all the way back to Tiberian Dawn

Pointless but i thought some of you might find it interesting Wink

EDIT: If anyone is actually interested ill post up a couple of renders (aint the greatest of quality)

That tank is the medium tank. not the Heavy Tank, IIRC.

I read your description, but I'm pretty sure it's a med tank. Then again, I don't exactly know much about the RA beta.

No they are Ra1 cameo's but they were modified for Ra2

No they werent used as cameos in RA (especially considering the heavy tank in RA had 2 barrels)
and nor were they used in RA2 (final version)
