Community News!
We have good news and bad news recently, that I didnt covered before because of universities. Fortunatelly, more good news than bad. Here's some:
-> CnC Series.com is back online: Ash finally managed to put his traditional site back online few days ago after months offline, but due to the news script, I doubt the page will receive much news post. However, its great ammount of contents is certainly worth a visit. They cover Generals, Renegade and Red Alert 2 (and any expansion from these games). They have some good strategies for RA2 commanders and also some interesting misc stuff. It's a pitty that their community list became very outdated with these latest offline months.
-> Farewell, CnC Matrix: Malc decided to close CnC Matrix after loose of interest on working on the site. So, the site will be closed in the next weeks and the forums and files database will last a bit more. The site used to be popular, due to its mod SecondWave that Malc stopped to work on in the last month. Oh well, good luck on whatever comes next to him.
-> Star Wars: Imperial Assault has new screenies as usual: They've been adding lots of screenshots featuring the Rebel defenses, Y-Wing, Imperial Sentinel Landing Craft, R5 (Rebel's builder), Tie Dozer (Imperial's builder), Rebel Supply Factory, Rebel Vehicles Factory, Rebel Cargo Skiff, and counting... these guys works in a crazy speed.... hard to catch. Keep up the good work!
-> 2021: Cataclysm: ArgCmdr has recently showed how cities may look like in the mod and so far, it looks very nice and detailed, with several new civilian buildings and even cars. Take a look:
Of course, you can see the full screenie, along with many others by reaching this page.
-> CnC All Stars presents: The Hover MLRS: Do you remember that Mario AllStars that Nintendo made to add all Mario games from Nintendo into SuperNES? These guys are doing something similar, by placing all sides from C&C games in Zero Hour... like CnC Memories is doing for YR. They've recently posted they work with the Hover MLRS from the Tiberian Sun's Global Defense Initiative and it's looking great. Here's a thumb:
The full size picture, along with many screenies and renders of the mod can be found here.
And finally, you can find much more news at the latest Uni's Community Roundup at CnC Unleashed by Unidentifiedname. Btw, enjoy Japan, Uni . Last edited by Banshee on Thu Sep 19, 2013 3:12 am; edited 1 time in total QUICK_EDIT
