Welcome to Project Perfect Mod Forums, The hot chick! Smile I hope you enjoy your stay. I say that to most new people.

What intrnal name did you give it?

What is the SHP file named, exactly? Are all letters, including the extension lowercase?

Where did you put the SHP?

OK here is what i did and the SHP is GCOMDO

;I put this section in rules.ini
;Sisterhood Commando
[GCOMDO] ( ***Infantry list***)
Name=Commando ( 25=GCOMDO )
Category=Soldier
MovementZone=Infantry
CrushSound=SQUISH6
VoiceSelect=10-I000,10-I002,10-I004,10-I006
VoiceMove=10-I016,10-I020,10-I022
VoiceAttack=10-I024,10-I026,10-I028,10-I030
VoiceDie=DEDGIRL1,DEDGIRL2,DEDGIRL2,DEDGIRL4
Locomotor={4A582744-9839-11d1-B709-00A024DDAFD1}
Speed=6
ThreatPosed=15
Owner=Nod,GDI
Prerequisite=BARRACKS,RADAR
Primary=Sniper
TechLevel=10
Strength=500
Armor=light
Sight=7
Cost=1000
Points=5
PhysicalSize=1
AllowedToStartInMultiplayer=no
ImmuneToVeins=yes
Trainable=yes
Pip=white
TiberiumProof=yes
AIBuildThis=yes
EliteAbilities=SCATTER,ROF

I put all this in the art .ini
[GCOMDO]
Cameo=GCOMDOICON
Sequence=GcomdoSequence
Crawls=yes
Remapable=yes
FireUp=2

I put this in Infantry sequence section of art .ini
[GcomdoSequence]
Ready=0,1,1
Guard=0,1,1
Prone=104,1,1
Walk=8,6,6
FireUp=56,6,6
Down=0,1,1
Crawl=112,6,6
Up=0,1,1
FireProne=160,6,6
Idle1=208,17,0
Idle2=225,11,0
Die1=242,6,0
Die2=236,6,0
Die3=236,6,0
Die4=236,6,0
Die5=248,8,0

then i put the icon and SHP files in the directory along with the ini files but when i tested it there was no cameo just a grey thing and the unit was invisable. im pretty sure i did things right but i dont know why it still happens.

put the shp file in the ecacheXX.mix. (If you have an expand02.mix, put it in ecache02.mix)

It's not in tibsun.mix. expand02.mix is a file that you should create on your own at Tiberian Sun directory. Then, you should have a file called ecache02.mix inside this expand02.mix. And inside the ecache02.mix, you place your SHP files.

Well, I'm not sure about versions before 2.0, but for me, it even works if I just put an ecache02.mix containing the SHPs in the TS directory, it's not necessary to put it into an expand02.mix.

I agree with Ackron the Mighty, it isn't necessary. If the Image= tag isn't there the game will use the section in Art.ini that's the same as the code for your unit. So it should work.. Very Happy

I think the problem is what Banshee describes, not having the files in at least an ecacheXX.mix Confused

Oh and good to know that you don't need to put the echache in an expand, that saves a lot of time when I continue with my TD con.yard Very Happy Twisted Evil
