For that there is The newbie guide in modding.

Tebrey’s Guide is nothing than an extracted rules.ini. From what i could see, it has no new info about the keys (just the same rules.ini comments) and still lists non-working keys like CloakStop and Reload.
I also think the huge wall of text is even more intimidating for newbies.

Looks as inaccurate as Deezire's guide. I already spotted the most common assumption people make regarding the VeteranArmor value:

Quote:

VeteranArmor=.25

This is the armor BONUS when unit is a veteran. Raising this makes your units harder to kill.

Wrong. You need to decrease it, as this value is used to multiply incoming damage.

His guide is older than the bible. I mean, I knew about it since the last milenium, literally. Anyway, it's quite helpful.
