Only if you care that much about MLP. Which obviously, I don't. Besides simple 2D arts does not mean that it must be MLP.

I grew up on TV. And besides the shows of '97's Cartoon Network, Mila the Superstar, Sailor Moon, Magic School Bus, The Raccoons and MLP was memorable for me. And I loved these.

Time moves on and some shows need to adapt to modern standards. They still churn out plastic horses with combable hair anyway.

Vectors? I've never seen Vectors to be really great for this. Vectors might work if your going for a more plain pixel-art style and not the whole 3D almost realistic style.

I'm definitely not going for a realistic style, and the angle won't likely be isometric at all; I find it really hard to draw stuff from that angle (aside from structures, but I mean stuff like trees and ponies).
I'll have to see how it looks when I get the first base models done, so I shouldn't say anything about that yet really...

I haven't ever seen a mod made with vectors either, but personally I think it'll work well. There shouldn't be pallette problems as I'll be using quite
limited pallette anyways, and I can render them in any size required quickly. Not to mention how easy drawing vectors is. Wink

On another subject, tell me, is the cyan too much?

And you'll probably have to figure out how to revert TS back from Isometric to Top-Down like DTA?

And from what I feel going Vector makes it feel like a Facebook App or something from the iPad. Laughing

DTA is isometric, you can't change that, only "pretend" visually.

Also for that sidebar surely you want to invert the cyan and blue? Since the cameo backgrounds should probably be dark in order to see them properly.

You could bring up to 10 Units from each mission over to the next.

Very bad unit pathfinding...
