This new strain of red/orange Tiberium started to appear during the Firestorm Crisis. However, it is extremely rare, and few commanders have had the chance to harvest it, though some have remarked that it is even more potent, valuable and explosive than Tiberium Cruentus and Aboreus. A sample was retrieved by Tratos, and
studied at his base protected by a Firestorm shield. However, all of its secrets were lost with the Mutant leader, who was assassinated by Nod forces on orders of CABAL.
Notably, the sample grew into a large
crystal, similar to a Vinefera or Aboreus crystal, except it was an orangey-red colour. A similar although perhaps stranger monolith can later be found in a tiberium field supplying CABAL's poorly defended centre- south support base amidst the Nod assault on the Core (but it does not do anything and simply disappears from the map if fired upon).
In Tiberian Twilight, Red Tiberium crystals do appear only in the campaign mode, as a byproduct of the Tiberium Control Network.
I'm not saying this is wrong, but I really don't remember this at all!?
It has been a very long while since I played the TS/FS campaign so its probably just my bad memory! _________________ QUICK_EDIT
Well, not really correct.
Arboreus was used, but only with Color=Neonblue, so it was never red ingame.
And the big monolith was only in 1 or 2 missions, but in these it was supposed to be Cruentus, though it was using a wrong palette so it appeared red/orange.
Because of this its spawned the info on the cnc wikia
which was all based on WW's pallette mess up.
Seems alot of people believe it
I just seen someone defending idea on red tiberium being in TT on moddb basing his argument on what is in this wikia article
and other people referring to it on the wikia forum
That's the internet, glad im not going insane. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
CnC Wikia says many things. Many things are wrong.
Someone put a bunch of 'cut Red Alert 2 units' and I have absolutely no idea where the authors got those ideas from. _________________ mentalomega.com QUICK_EDIT
"Chrono Legionnaire Turret"
- This Unit will appear as a Hero Unit for this Mod.
"Soviet Multi-Turret Drone"
- This Unit will appear as the Repair Drone for this Mod.
Concept Art aside some were just rough ideas though or recycled...
Black Widow Drone got recycled into Yuri's Chaos Drone.
Soviet Tank Killer is the German Tank Destroyer
Soviet Demo Dog got its role taken up by Terrorists *They were suicide bombers (Which in turn were supposed to be more like C4-only armed Saboteurs) _________________ ~ Excelsior ~ QUICK_EDIT
The Howitzer appeared in the version 2.0 of the Mental Omega mod as the French Demolisher Artillery, and will be redone in 3.0 as the Zephyr Artillery.
It keeps happening. _________________ mentalomega.com QUICK_EDIT

People... it's A WIKI. If it's wrong... change it?
I mean, ffs, it said I was the creator of the RA map editor RAED, while all I did was release a hacked version that would read the map filenames used by the Aftermath multiplayer maps.
So I edited the page. It's a wiki. That's what it's for. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
Problem with a wiki: those who put the wrong stuff in, could do it again after removing the corrected infos. _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings
Outgoing from all the invented infos, i assume the one who wrote all this used the famous CanMakeUpInfos key. Last edited by Lin Kuei Ominae on Sun Nov 25, 2012 1:12 am; edited 2 times in total QUICK_EDIT
Wrong. It's Cruentus that means blood-red. Arboreus (latin arbor = tree) means tree-like, i.e. Tiberium monoliths. For some reason, though, Westwood made Cruentus the one that uses the BTIB image. I guess they just mixed up the names. Cruentus was propably meant to be regular Tiberium, only coloured red.

That is why you have a source. No one should buy information that has no source. _________________

"Tiberium Arboreus (Source: Latin dictionary)"
"Bigblue, which was used as the crystal image for Cruentus, had a palette issue, thus appearing orange/red ingame and causing several errors in this wiki (Source: look at the damn game inis and shp files you Noobs)" _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings
Someone must of been insane working on the Cut Content for Red Alert 3. Besides the Chrono Tank, which was for all intensive purposes cut content, there is the Mammoth Tank (a April Fool's joke) and a tesla plane which is only mentioned in the MiG unit's profile. QUICK_EDIT
