That's actually the plan on how i'll make the Colony's Barracks... a Giant Ant Hill...

And the War Factory a "War Factory" made out of rocks,dirt. With a Membrane covering the top for its Roof Door. I'm still figuring out how to give the buildings proper remap.

It'll be some extra work... but you can use custom palettes for voxels too so you can give each side more variation in colors anyway if the current one is limited for you.

Yes. The Striker/Walker VX Unit is one of the Empire's Units. Basically when in the Walker Mode its an Anti-Air Unit while in the Chopper Mode its an Anti-Surface (Armor & Buildings specially) Unit.

Meh not much... on lowest graphics its basically on par with Generals but with more judicious usage of particles.

Aside from that its like C&C3 but with MORE micromanagement.

Yep I was specifically pertaining to the Bombing Bays.

I'm guessing he made it an entire unit since BalloonHover Units have bugs when given a Turret.

Since when? Siege Choppers and Floating Discs have turrets. Altough former has invisible artwork and latter has instant turn spinning one. Of course these two both have OmniFire=yes weapons but it does work without that and turret rotates correctly.

You did wise placing the bomb bay right below the turret if it is separate. You're going to have some issues with FLH but far less this way.

If you gave the Unit a visible turret and made it BalloonHover its turret will always face whatever direction it took off from. (So for BalloonHover Units which pop out of the WF they will have their turret face East)

The Siege Chopper & Floating Disk both have it as you said. Siege Chopper has that buggy look of firing at a unit behind it sometimes.

On the Floating Disk it doesn't matter since it had the same design on the Turret and Chassis.

Yeah, the turret will face that one direction, something that makes turreted jumpjets not-so-appealing for me.

Similar thing goes to jumpjets with weapons which should technically face a direction like all those helis with machineguns and rocket pods. When they fire those weapons at units behind them it's just silly.
