Hello!

This is my first posted shp here, its something i have been working on its the soviet radar, now i did not make any animation simply because its better this way nor i did a buildup (i suck at making animations), its just active and damaged Wink

i am working on the snow radar but for now enjoy the temperate . I would release this building but i dont know how to include a download link so please can anyone help me? thanks

On-topic: It's good, but could be better if they have active anims and buildups.

i know but i suck at making animations plus the radar already have one small animated dish so EVEN IF i did make anims then there will be three animated disks just turning in front of your head its gonna make you want to throw up.if you think about it.

Please remember to put the small dishes on the big dish animation, like in the RA2 version. You might only need to edit the left this, because the right one is already present

This one...

The Left Dish was also facing North turning right when the right Dish was turning left and vice-versa.

well technically the pre realease had 3 one big and two small on both sides so i will simply remove the original small dish and keep the big one and the ones that i added anyone agrees? the aim is to restore it. Plus their animation is really hard. Sad

and i will try to post a gif to show you its really cool.

Really it would have to be done in 3D to get the animation as well.

well yeah its almost exactly like the screenshot but simply without an animation only on big animated radar dish and two immobile dishes i will work on a gif.

Err, you'd have to remove the small rightside disk from the big radar dish, since they use the same animation file.

Seems pointless without the animation.. considering that is the main big difference in the beta radar... the animation

can't you edit and recycle the small dish animation that is already part of the soviet radar and use that?

edit and recycle. you mean like trying to move it a little bit to the right ? if so i can do it if not then i will have no choice but to remove it and keep only the big dish animated.And here is an idea if it worked i will convert the shp to a png and copy the small dish and flip it in photoshop this way i can try to animate both them good?

yes, just mirror the right dish. It doesn't need a shadow since its on the left side.

You will need to touch up the dish though since it will still have the shadow despite being on the left side.
