TunnelSpeed
Not sure why I never tried experimenting with this key before. Only found one topic discussing this key on the forums too. If you put a very low value here (e.g. 0.001), it will take very long time for subterranean vehicles to drill into the ground, thus making them vulnerable for longer time. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to affect the speed at which they surface, at least not nearly as much.
The key also slows the speed at which they travel upwards / downwards. Think it could work as a balancing factor for units like the devil's tongue, you need to select the location where to surface ahead of the enemy, since it takes a bit longer to get there. Also makes hit and runs harder since they take longer time to drill back into the ground.
From my tests TunnelSpeed=.2 seems like a balanced value, slows them down quite a bit, but not to a point where it becomes annoying to control subterranean units. One of my subterranean units that had pretty high speed (11) used to drill into the ground alot faster than my other subterranean units, but with TunnelSpeed=.2 it's alot more balanced, the faster unit drills only slightly faster now. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
