WOL and XWIS and other community news!

XWIS and WOL are down: They were recently hacked with a wave of distributed denial of service (DDoS) and are not working. Some times people were able to get into WOL, but XWIS doesnt seems to return soon. The bad news that, with this kind of attitude, all of the C&C fans are unable to play their favourite C&C game online (exception for Generals/Zero Hour)... unless they use GameSpy.

And some other news:

- CnC Unleashed is down: The site is offline at the moment, but you can still submit files to filestorm and submit your maps for inspection with the map inspector feature at jameswesleychang@gmail.com (Unidentifiedname's email).

- YR Argentina: YR Argentina has bee spoted as the Fan Site Of The Week at CnC Community! ArgCmdr was interviewed by SGJohnson, the responsible for the FSOTW feature. You can read the interview here. He has also added a graphic pack from Daz, with all the work Daz has put in his recently abandoned mod, Remember The Silence.

- Star Wars Imperial Assault: They are one year old now, young huh Wink

?. And they've updated a lot of things there. Other than the usual updates on the site, some forums were closed to speed up the beta and... they are holding yet another map contest... although it's a bit different this time, since it needs to fit a Star Wars theme Wink

- CnC Community.net: Chickendippers added two new things there:

-> Modding Encyclopedia: Ask the modders there (currently Comrade Max and AircraftKiller (?) ) and have your question answered as soon as possible in their database there. But it's important to take a look at that database before asking repetitive things.

-> Community Listing: It has been updated now with Unidentifiedname's links. The one from CnC Series is fairly outdated at the moment.
