mind you I know veeeery little of particles/systems
but for example on warhead Bright=yes makes small flash
and I wonder is it possible to make huge longer lasting flash

to some effect to replace or emulate atomic bomb fall flash
(big radius and high intensity flash)

can this be done ?

Use multiple anims/particles linked together with Next=, each one having a different alpha image.

So instead of having 1 anim with 20 frames have 20 anims with 1 frame linked in a chain etc.

Since TI is public, he only has to look at the code, so why repeating it here again when it's already there. Wink

Yes, but we call it Globotech. Everything we don't use but find good goes in there. Very Happy

There was a time when a certain member (DaTS and Morpher know) created a lovely table voxel.

correct
Keep in mind that alphaimages don't use the convenient compression where transparent areas aren't stored in the SHP. Thus the filesize of such huge alphalights can become quite big.

The TI nukeflash uses 25 alphaimages of the size 864x864 pixel with each having a size of 746kB. (Still not optimized and the canvas reduced to the smallest possible size)

The inbuild Bright function creates flashes only up to a certain hardcoded size, that can't be increased further. It's also always the fixed shape of a circle in isometric view (ellipse).
