Need help for map
Subject description: 1 question
I have no idea if this can be done:
Can you using FA2YR make it so that every single player receives 10000 every 12 minutes for your map using scripts or something? _________________ Destroy to create. All for the hunt to dominate!
Add an Oil Derrick next to all the start points & then mod the map to so they give the desired amount. You can also add a trigger so the player is given it as soon as the game starts, so they don't need to capture it.
Alternatively if you are using Ares you can code a money superweapon & then just attach it to the construction yards. _________________
A fast way is doing it is by running this ini-file I made for you, well it mostly based around my MLEP's ini file.
Begin by opening your map in FA2 by selecting file then open.
Now make sure you are not in beginner mode. "Check under options and make sure beginner mode is not checked."
Next go to edit then select INI editing. Now hit the Insert another INI file content.
Go ahead and select the "add money.ini" you download from this page.
It will ask if you want it to override previous settings, accept.
Finally you are done, save your map.
Your map will now give all players 10k every 12 minutes.

I checked the ini and it looks interesting.
But i wonder, doesn't it cause a crash when it tries to fire the trigger for a player that doesn't exist (you set there Player 1-8)? e.g. only 2 player on a 8 player map. _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings
The triggers used in this ini will not crash in stock game either, only certain triggers will do that if a player is not present. _________________ Grab my Map Logic Expansion Pack 5.2 here!

Thanks so much for this new code. I was wondering if it can be used for other mods/maps, like Dawn of the Tiberium Age. That game and stock TS always has the very slow growth rate for tiberium.
Eventually no one's gonna have any money (except for the cheating AIs) and the game becomes unplayable. I can't field any armies, I c an't even take care of my base. This happens in DoTA all the time. The AIs will keep swarming to no end, but all the tiberium will have been harvested.
Adding this code into a map is a great way for one guy to take on seven brutal AIs. _________________ Destroy to create. All for the hunt to dominate!
Dawn of the Tiberium Age was a TS mod. I've never really modded TS that much, if at all. While I know they are similar in both rules and mapping, the methods I used for this ini file were made specifically for RA2 using the oil derick Logic to provide the cash inflow by auto placing insignificant buildings off the playable area of the map, and then giving to the players via the change house action.
As for being used with other mods and maps, I encourage it and suggest you upgrade to MLEP, MLEPNS, or MLEPNR ini edit. This ini was based off the MLEPNR map modifier, with some slight modifications being made, such as the addition of oil derrick code, and removal of buildings you did not need in your map file.
Of course, TS is most likely out of the question without changing the ini script and providing that TS had a suitable replacement to oil derrick logic. _________________ Grab my Map Logic Expansion Pack 5.2 here!

Give, me a break, one small typo, anyways, there's not much hope for TS... Great game... I played it for years in my youth, same can be said for all the CNC games though... _________________ Grab my Map Logic Expansion Pack 5.2 here!
